The latest Mainsaver Mobile CMMS app was a huge success with delegates at the recent Spidex User Conference.
User Conference 2016, held at Ardencote Manor in Warwickshire, brought together Mainsaver CMMS users from across the UK and Ireland to see the latest developments in the system.
A big hit with delegates was the new Mainsaver Mobile CMMS app, which gives maintenance engineers the means to add, update and complete work orders in the field, without having to return to a PC. The module doesn’t require a continuous network connection (new data is stored locally and synced back later) and it can be deployed to any smart device. To demonstrate its capability, delegates were given individual login credentials and within a few seconds were using the Mainsaver Mobile module on their own phones and tablets (photo above.)
As well as the mobile version, delegates saw some brand new and exciting enhancements now available in the very latest Mainsaver version 12.7.
Other highlights included a riveting customer case study from Kristian Steward of Alps Electric, who demonstrated how he uses Mainsaver CMMS data to identify and mitigate product QA issues further upstream in order to reduce scrap and rework costs. Delegates were also treated to a talk on best-practice asset care by guest presenter Paul Hilford from maintenance consultancy E-Step.
Recent developments in Spidex’s other products were notably featured, including the EPRAIS health & safety management suite and DataSabre water testing compliance software.
