September 2016 sees Spidex Software celebrating 10 years of successful trading.
During that time, Spidex has grown from being a CMMS reseller with two staff in a rented office to become a highly-regarded supplier of innovative new software products. Spidex now has a software development team, technical helpdesk, QA function, sales & marketing department, finance office and a professional services team all housed in its own office building.
Throughout Spidex’s decade-long history, the company has boasted significant year-on-year growth in both turnover and profit, despite in its early years trading through the 2007-8 financial crisis, one of the most challenging global economic climates in living memory.
In a statement posted on social media, Spidex Managing Director Jonathan Starling wrote:
“It is with great pride that I write this. Spidex has reached its 10th birthday and I want to thank everyone that has been involved in the journey. We have excellent customers who, with support, ideas and funding, have enabled us to bring two new products to market in EPRAIS (H & S Management) and DataSabre (Water Hygiene), both of which are gathering momentum in their respective sectors.
The core of our business is still maintenance and asset care with Mainsaver. This still continues to grow year on year and, with ongoing advances into mobile usage, will do so long into the future.
We have a great team at Spidex and I would like to thank them all for their commitment and dedication. They keep our old and new customers happy with day-to-day support and by continually developing and releasing newer and even better functionality.
